In 2019, Penguin Random House appointed TDC to raise awareness of ‘Books make us better’, a unique creative marketing campaign conceptualised by the PRH Creative Strategy team in collaboration with renowned UK design studio Anyways Creative. The campaign promoted gifting books during the holiday season and was one of the first marketing campaigns of its kind for the publishers’ USA office.
TDC secured media coverage in key trade and design titles that celebrated the playful campaign, demonstrated its success in driving sales during the holiday period, and showcased the breadth of titles published across various genres. The campaign resulted in coverage in It’s Nice That, The Drum, The Bookseller, Publishers’ Weekly and Digital Arts amongst others, and was instrumental in supporting internal reputation and awareness of the work undertaken by the Creative Strategy team.
